Verlyn Kortbein was a wonderful man and a wonderful grandpa. We treasure the beautiful furniture that he created. He was so very talented and could even use my colored pictures to build something. I will always remember when he let me get close to real cows for the first time and pulled the tractor out so I could "pretend" to ride it. I shared his love of warm temperatures and was never cold in Grandpa's basement. He welcomed me to the family from the very first moment I met him. My thoughts and love to all who knew him and who are going to miss him very much.
